I am writing this to express my gratitude for the assistance of Mr. Michael Johnson, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Sen/ices Select Properties in Saint Louis, Missouri. After ending up in a scenario where “life happened” it left me in a very difficult position. Worse yet, a real-estate agent with another company tried taking advantage of my horrific circumstances; thankfully I sought out a second opinion. Mike came to me highly recommended, and by way of dear friends who have known him for many years. In an apparent attempt at getting my listing at all costs, the other agent had told me things that were patently untrue. Thus, what had previously seemed like excellent prospects evaporated before my eyes, but I needed the truth. Although it ended up being difficult to hear, Mike told me the unvarnished reality. By extension, what already seemed like a bad situation turned out to be far worse than I could have ever imagined. Frankly, I suspect most other realtors would have walked away, but Mike Johnson willingly accepted what he knew would be a major challenge. Bottom-line, what makes Mr. Johnson an excellent businessperson is his rock-solid integrity, and a genuine desire to help others. Beyond that, something I learned very quickly is that Mike is incredibly resourceful, which made all the difference in creating a successful outcome. Not only did my home sell within a very short amount of time, but for more than I could ever expected under the circumstances; every bit of that was attributable to his efforts. Although he made no promises, Mike repeatedly bent over backwards to assist me at every stage. Finding true professionals of any stripe can be difficult these days, and Mike Johnson is by far the best Realtor I have ever dealt with. For some guy I had never met before, he demonstrated quite a bit of loyalty; something that should work both ways, in my estimation. For however long I remain in this region, Mike will always have me as a client. Unlike the charlatan I encountered before him, the man earns his commissions not only legitimately, but honorably. Candidly, if Mr. Johnson did even half the work and charged people twice as much, it would still be a terrific bargain.
